Proportional Circle Map

A proportional circle map is used to show different types of data by using a limited number of circles, each circle representting a different amount of the desired data. Proportional circle maps are very benefical in showing things like population, like in the map above taken in 1990 from the US Census they used proportional circle maps to show the amount of Native American Population in each state.
